Hengist Road Mews is a residential infill development comprising a terrace of four three-bedroom houses with associated parking and landscaping. The scheme, a partial resubmission of an earlier consent following the separate implementation of the former Springfield Nursing Home conversion, responds sensitively to its context through a restrained material palette of yellow and red stock brickwork, natural slate and GRP roofing, timber and aluminium windows, and black cast iron rainwater goods. Permeable paving, patios, and retained boundary walls create cohesive outdoor spaces, while nine on-site parking spaces and pedestrian-friendly access reinforce its contribution as a contemporary, contextually grounded addition to the streetscape.
